Spring It Up!

Hello Everyone,

Wish you all a very Happy New Year!!

It’s been almost 2 months since I came to Mumbai. It’s a beautiful city and I am still settling in.

I’m sure we all have those days when we don’t quite feel motivated or inspired by the world around us. It’s often difficult to pull yourself out of those phases, but I try to stay positive and keep the drive ignited in me. This is how I feel sometimes about blogging – I don’t always feel like I have exciting visuals to share and wanting the world to see all the creativity in my mind that I want to showcase but I’m also nervous about people not liking it.

Looking at the polished online content, sometimes it’s easy to neglect all the work that goes on behind the scenes. So many people have a skill for making it look so easy. Sometimes, when I’m not feeling inspired, I like to just take a step back and return to a project with a fresh state of mind. I can often get a bit nervy about the content I create. Whether it’s good enough or interesting enough to put out there is the thought that keeps hovering my mind.

We often tend to be are our own worst critics, and when I find myself being finicky, I know it’s time to try and stop getting absorbed into the social media bubble and just tune into the world around me. This was one of my first shoots in London. It didn’t turn out to be a good day for a shoot because of the weather turning gloomy from a nice bright day. A big inspiration for me is nature in particular – I like to wander around and feel the different textures and admire its beauty. I have quite a simplistic way of dressing, so I wore a floral printed crop shirt with denim and pink sandals.

Hope you’ve all had a great week celebrating and ushering in the New year.
