Ruffle Up!

Hey!

"34, 33, 32.5, 34 again, 33, 28.....Oh my god 28! Got to do a shoot!" This is exactly what was going on in my mind as I was scrolling by the temperatures in Mumbai on Google. Even 28 feels hot, therefore for my location I chose a rustic and artsy urban cafe called the Birdsong cafe.

For my look I wore a super cool top with blue and white stripes and full of ruffles –which is seen almost all over Instagram right now. Ruffled tops are so versatile. You can make it a romantic look with a pretty skirt or try a pair of palazzo pants for a crisp look; making it such a versatile piece. Well I am clearly obsessed with the street style look. I matched it with black dungarees and a choker. The trick is to make these ruffles that are snaking around one shoulder and cascading down the other, the focal point of the outfit. So, I finalized with a simple black pair of heels which gave the look a touch of glam.

An off shoulder top with ruffles surrounding the neckline is the perfect canvas- it perfectly draws attention upward to your clavicle and frames your face. It adds a movement to minimalist offerings with a sense of charm and drama. Also, it has become the game-changing trend on dresses, sleeves, and even otherwise sober trousers.
