My 'Leap' Year

It’s been a while since I last wrote. Two thousand and seventeen has come to an end, which means this is going to be one of my most special posts as Game Of Styles completed 1 year… ONE year! My god. Time really flies. I still remember that day when I was fretting over starting my own blog. But here I am...I survived just fine.

It has been a year of self-discovery, with its fair share of highs and lows. Last year really has been a huge learning curve for me – in many ways, 2017 has been the year that helped me evolve in so many different ways. So much has changed for me, and I’m really excited to see what this year has in store for me. I can say, even though this year had 365 days, it was a 'leap year' for me.

I recently travelled to Hyderabad for my friend’s wedding so I got to explore the place a bit. I have always loved travelling right from my childhood days and I'm very fortunate that my parents fuelled it into me to explore places, different cultures, traditions and languages.

I wanted to visit the Golconda Fort as this was also a part of my ‘Must Visit’ list. I was really disappointed when I found out, for some reason the Fort was closed. The local people suggested me to visit Qutb Shahi Tombs instead and I am glad I found this place. The history, the architecture, the vibe..everything was inspiring and magical. It was a perfect mix of precision, light, colour, and shadow all blending in together somehow harmoniously. This balance invokes a naive modernism that is timeless. I find something new every time I look at it.
